Game officials

Goal: Support the smooth running of games through various roles.

Key Responsibilities:

• Bench Officials: Assist during games by keeping track of scores and recording penalties on the game sheet.

• Referee: Has knowledge of the rules and the overall flow of the game. Maintains neutrality and fairness, and possesses the necessary fitness and skating skills.

• Timekeeper: Closely monitors the game clock, stops it when signaled by the referee, and keeps track of penalty times.

Skills & Competencies:

• Good understanding of the game – able to read the play

• Knowledge of inline hockey rules

• Willingness to attend additional training if needed

• Ability to act neutrally and fairly during the game

• Referee: sufficient fitness and skating ability
